Tropical Traditions Gold Label Coconut Oil Review and Giveaway!

Tropical Traditions sent me a quart of their Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil to review, and they’re generously giving away a quart to one of my blog readers! You can enter to win below.

I am a huge fan of virgin coconut oil! There are hundreds of uses for coconut oil, and it is used in my home every single day. I begin each morning with oil pulling, using a tablespoon of virgin coconut oil. We also use coconut oil for much of our personal care. Coconut Oil is my under-eye moisturizer, body lotion, and hydrating hair mask. In the winter, I rub it on my dried, cracked feet before I put on socks and go to bed. It is also fantastic for rough hands that are in desperate need of some moisture. It also works well for on chapped lips .
Coconut oil is also fantastic for baking and cooking. I promise if you stir-fry your veggies in coconut oil, you'll never go back to another oil again! The taste and aroma is just so perfect. Coconut oil also tastes awesome in baked goods.  You can add it to smoothies or even use it on toast in place of butter. Tropical Traditions also has tons of great recipe ideas (many of them gluten-free!).
I have used many different brands of virgin coconut oil, and aside from the differences in price they all seemed pretty similar.  They all worked well, but none of them stood out. I wasn't expecting anything spectacular, but WOW! Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil is in a class by itself!  I could immediately tell a difference in the texture; it is so much more smooth, creamy, and rich than other coconut oils I have used.  I think I am actually using coconut oil even more now(if that is possible).
Even if I love a product, it is still important to me that it comes from a reputable and responsible source. Luckily, I can be very confident in the Tropical Traditions Gold Label brand because it is made from organic, fresh coconuts in rural areas of the Philippines. It is made by hand in small batches by small-scale family businesses in the Philippines using traditional methods. All aspects of the production, including packaging, are certified organic according to the strictest standards. This is a product that I feel good about buying and using on my precious family.

And now for the giveaway!
